Maverick von Molln is a gorgeous 15 month old German Shepherd. It’s so easy to see that, between his gorgeous red sandy coat, his classic Shepherd conformation and too-perfect head tilt, everyone just falls for him. However, Maverick is more than just good looks. He eats up attention and seeks guidance from his people. In his short time at the rescue he has learned his leash manners and even how to settle down with proper handling. He’s praise and ball-motivated and is very attentive when you give him direction. Maverick is very sweet around his people but can be a bit pushy around other dogs his size. When meeting new dogs, he does listen to correction to give them their space and does eventually feel comfortable around them, both on and off leash. He’d do best in a home with another dog his size that is tolerant of both his energetic spirit and nosiness, but with no small dogs or cats.
